Coddiwomple
Well, it's 2016 and here I am Coddiwompling (traveling in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination). As mentioned in my previous Steps and Changes post I didn't know what the next step should be -at least I know for now what that is -as I talked about my new job in my previous post and even then I didn't know if I would get to come back for this upcoming school year -but I am -I got the call! My daughter also got a call from a job and she will soon start college- So, yep here we are coddiwompling *crossing fingers* that everything goes well! I feel this is all pretty life changing -What do you think?! So, I feel like I'm really in the thick of it at the moment -but, it's all good stuff -except when you feel like people are judging you -like you were "a writer" but, now you are not now you're just a whiny non creative non author -I don't know if this is actually happening but, it can feel this way -It may be a whole other post on creative productivity - Like what is that anyway? I sometimes feel like making food is creative -food art anyone? Was planning and decorating for my daughter's graduation party creative -especially adding in some Pinterest DIYs? Is writing this blog post creative? I don't know -I'm just a girl in front of you all asking you to love her -As I coddiwomple -Can you handle that? ;)

MckLinky Monday -Friends
Today on the RHOK they want to know about friends -specifically- What are the top 5 qualities that are most important to you in friendships?
I'd have to start with Loyalty / Trustworthiness (that's 2) - I think any relationship should have this - synonymous with honesty and being supportive. As far as loyalty -some of my closest friends have been my friend for years -some for a few -some about 15 yrs! -Definitely loyal and trustworthiness there on both sides. And sometimes it can quite the ride- I have been there for some marriages then divorces and even some remarriages!
Which brings me to the next thing -serious things can happen throughout anyone's life -Sometimes it is about the Seriousness -whether it's a serious conversation, or a serious situation a friend should be there.
But, in life sometimes you've got to be silly! So,there's got to be Silliness also! My true friends know my silly side. I might go through the toy aisles and turn on the toys, have fun in make believe land, or be enthralled in the latest fad (Twilight anyone;) -Can you believe some people might think this would be immature?! Pfft -Whatever!
And what I think all this means is being open -Communication. Yep, as they say communication is key -which I find true for most true,deep relationships.
Also on this subject I can't help to think of that saying -Some friends are here for a reason,Some a season, and some a lifetime. As it seems with me -I get along with most people -I am usually shy at 1st especially, but those that take the time will get to know me better and hopefully be a good friend -maybe even for a lifetime!

Unexpected Visitors
Seems we probably all have people that are friends or family that we just don't see that often -Of course back in the day you might hear things through the grapevine or talk to them every so often -Nowadays more than likely you might be facebook friends with them.
Like my high school friend even though we don't live that far apart it can be hard to get together -with kids,work schedule, and you know life in general. So,it was nice to get a call from her last weekend when she was in town and for her to stop by for a bit -Even if I was just kinda getting around and maybe not quite ready for visitors -But, she's the kind of friend who's seen it all -The good,bad,and the ugly -just getting up and around look ;)
And then this weekend my cousin who lives quite a few states away and that I literally haven't seen in years happened to be this way for a visit. It was nice to see her and some other family from that side at an impromptu BBQ. Of course I know part of the reason for the impromptu-ness having to keep some people separate(her mom & dad) -A whole big can of worms that I won't fully open here :P
Anyways nonetheless it's kinda nice to have these kind of unexpected visitors - I've had some pretty good weekends lately :)
